Hilti has invested over £1.5 million in 55 purpose built demonstration vans to visit sites across the UK. The vans provide its sales team the capability to prove how Hilti products and services outperform and outlast in hundreds of applications.
Each of the Ford vehicles comes equipped with over 25 tools, including the latest DSH 700 petrol saw, the TE 4-A cordless rotary hammer and the TE 1000 breaker, as wel as 80 accessories. The demonstration vans are unique, with a 5KVA power generation system that provide al the power necessary to demonstrate dust-free driling, cutting and breaking equipment at any location.
In addition to the onboard power system, the vans include concrete, steel and timber to alow both the sale representative and the customer to test the equipment of their choice relevant to their applications on-site.
The vans have been supplied by the Ford dealer, Evans Halshaw in Trafford Park. A bespoke van security system, along with Hiltis TPS (Theft Protection System) ensures the highest possible levels of protection for both the products and the van itself.
