SDMO has begun strengthening their UK distributor partnership with the appointment of two diesel generator specialists – Advanced Diesel Engineering and the Icel Group Ltd - as their latest Gold Dealers.
Pontefract based, Advanced Diesel Engineering, supply a range of diesel generators suited for standby operation, emergency backup power and prime power operation. The company is 20 years young and is a highly respected organisation within the power generation market in the UK and overseas.
The Icel Group was founded in 1963 and currently employs over 150 carefully trained personnel who undertake the most technical projects in electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, panel manufacturing and power generation, with a full design, construction, validation & commissioning service. The company operates from a purpose built premises in Lenham, Kent and is within easy reach of the UK motorway network

Icel power systems specialise in the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of diesel and gas powered generating units and their ancillary equipment, both in the UK and overseas. Advanced Diesel Engineering maintains a range of generators from 11.0 to 3300.0 kVA. They offer a wide range of standard acoustic enclosures and manufacture custom designed silenced and super-silenced containers. SDMO launched their Gold Dealer programme in 2007. These latest additions brings the number of SDMO Gold Dealers to eight, each situated strategically throughout the UK and Ireland. SDMO, also have one Platinum dealer, authorised to carry out and complete major technical projects on behalf of SDMO.
Gold Dealers are empowered respond to all types of product requirements within short lead times. They are individually trained to the very highest standards on all SDMO equipment, ensuring that all users of SDMO equipment will receive a high-quality, rapid and reliable service. SDMO have also appointed Advanced Diesel Engineering as a residential gas distributor, joining with two existing specialist dealers. Residential gas distributors concentrate on the SDMO range of back-up power for domestic homes and small offices.
