Specialist plant hire company Hewden has recruited nine graduates as national account sales executives (NASEs) to provide local support to the country's leading contractors. In addition six internal recruits have also joined the team.
Hewden boasts preferred supplier status with many top-ranking contractors, thanks to its extensive UK depot network, multiple accreditations, comprehensive product portfolio and speed of response. In order to maintain this consistently high level of service, the company has invested in the new NASE team to support its national accounts sales managers; helping to develop relationships with local site managers and acting as the first point of contact for equipment requirements.
Jeff Schofield, head of sales and marketing at Hewden, said: “We are committed to sourcing the best people to meet our customers’ needs. Each graduate went through a demanding recruitment process and has completed a 50-day training programme covering products and applications, systems and processes, and sales development.
"The NASE team is now out in the field, providing the expertise to fulfill our customers’ requirements and working closely with local Hewden depots."
