GenSet Get Set for SED

GenSet, the South Wales based supplier of power generation equipment are getting ready to display their latest crop of rental-quality generators and welders at this years SED.

Four products will be showcased at Rockingham. A new model Weldbaby 180amp petrol welder, a competitively priced 300amp diesel welder and two new silent and super-silent 6.0kVA generators.

The Weldbaby MW 180 remains GenSet's best selling small welder. It was conceived through consultations with some of the UK's leading welding professionals, making the Weldbaby ideally suited for trackside work and other similar applications, particularly where access to in-situ welding is an issue. The Weldbaby has the advantage of being the smallest, lightest product of it's kind.

With the current economic climate affecting the industry, the GenSet sales team has put together new dealer package for their welder distributors. This includes a new range of products, all competitively priced and with new carriage options etc. As a part of this new deal, GenSet have developed a 300-amp diesel welder, powered by a Ruggerini engine, which offers areal choice for professional welders, without compromising on quality and reliability. An example of this new set will be displayed at SED. GenSet will continue to offer the 300-amp Kubota model as their premier product, more details can be discovered by a visit to the GenSet exhibition area.

The small-plant hire firms are being offered a choice of two 6.0kVA diesel generators, a silent model for construction site use and a super-silent product for extreme noise sensitive environments. Both of these sets are powered by a Yanmar air-cooled diesel engine and a range of options and accessories are available.

The company is in the process of developing a new website, which is set to go online later this year. GenSet hope to offer greater web based material to allow easy access to information as many people catch up with their tasks for the day out of normal working hours.

Alongside the GenSet stand will be an open demonstration area, where all these latest products will be presented for all visitors to try out for themselves.

GenSet's business manager Andrew Owen said, "we hope we have something for everyone. We have products that will suit the rental companies, fabricators, engineering organisations, as well as resellers and companies looking for true value for money. Come and visit us at our Stand U at Avenue N, and see how we have adapted ourselves to the current economic climate, to suit our customers."
