TowerLight, a leading European manufacturer of construction products, have booked their space at this year's SED and are ready to showcase a number of new products, alongside their existing range of awarding winning lighting sets.
"This is the first time we have exhibited at SED in our own right," explained Paul Hay, TowerLight's international sales manager. "In previous years we have promoted our products in the UK under the GenSet brand. However, we are now extending our complete range directly from the TowerLight factory," confirmed Paul.
Making their debut at Rockingham will be examples from the range of compact Gladiator Caesar secure boxes, each fitted with an anti-theft locking system and featuring internal adjustable, removable drawers. The Caesar is finished in a hardwearing polyurethane power coat, which provides an advanced protection against harsh elements.
TowerLight will also be unveiling the Gladiator Hydrotrailer Fast, a powerful trailer mounted pressure washer, delivering up to 960 litres of water per hour at 200 bar. The Hydrotrailer Fast is fitted with a 1000-litre water tank and is powered by a single cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. The complete unit is mounted on a fast tow road trailer, fitted with brakes. The principal feature of the Hydrotrailer is an automatic reel assembly, which can be rotated and locked. The reel is supplied with a 90cm nozzle and 15 metres of hose, enabling work to be carried out at some considerable distance from the bowser, thus alleviating the need to have to continuously move the trailer.
Making their first appearance in the UK will be two samples from TowerLight's Gladiator range of mini tracked dumpers. The Gladiator series are built to transport all types of building material, including concrete. They are manufactured from very strong steel sheet, yet remain light, agile and easy to use, particularly in confined areas.
Alongside these exciting new innovations will be the best selling VT-1, 9m vertical mast lighting tower, partnered by it's smaller cousin, the VT-2. The VT-1 can be seen in operation on highway contracts throughout the country and the VT-2 has developed into a popular product with small-plant rental firms because of its compact dimensions and simple operation. Completing the TowerLight lighting line-up is the unique LinkTower. The LinkTower has become a common item in many of the leading UK and worldwide rental fleets, providing standalone floodlighting, which can be linked together and run from one power source, mains or a generator.
"I will be accompanied on stand V, Avenue N, by my colleagues, Ray Caulfield and Wayne Brennan," concluded Paul, "and all of us offer an open invitation to all users of construction machinery to come along to our stand to see for themselves what the new TowerLight Gladiator range has on offer."
