CPI kicks of 2009 with Volvo package

Chepstow Plant (International) Ltd, the Blue Chip contractors who specialize in high production projects in the U.K. and abroad, has started 2009 with the delivery of a significant package Volvo Construction Equipment products including excavators, articulated haulers and wheeled loaders.

In all CPI has taken delivery of a total of twenty haulers split between the A25 and A40 size, ten excavators ranging from twenty one tonnes to thirty six tonnes and mid sized loading shovels for bespoke applications in the waste handling industry. The package is both a replacement programme as well as an increment to the CPI fleet of equipment. "Our business has become synonymous in operating quality products for the projects we undertake where high production capacity and high availability is called for," says Managing Director John Corcoran. "In our opinion, choosing models from the Volvo range supports a sound business partnership between us, our clients and our supplier."

To provide added value to CPI's customer base all Volvo supplied products are equipped with Caretrack telematics utilising the latest technology in machine management. CareTrack provides operational data remotely via the internet, including fuel consumption and idle time, all helping to reduce cost of ownership and maximise utilisation.
