HAV can be a significant health risk wherever powered hand tools and other vibrating equipment are used for significant lengths of time. The new booklet from A-Plant defines good practice to reduce vibration risk for employees in the industries served by the company and offers advice on alternative methods in a bid to reduce the risk.
Information on HAV is also included in the 60-page Health and Safety handbook that forms part of the new version of the A-Plant Site Safety Pack. The pack is designed to help site workers understand ever evolving Health and Safety legislation and guidelines. The new comprehensive pack includes folders, window stickers and a variety of posters ranging from Dust control and Noise Control, to Working at Height.
