HAVTEC Expands Testing Capability

Compaction Tests to Commence at HAVTEC (01/09/06)

Following a recent agreement with Belle, OPERC and Loughborough University are building a new vibration compaction test track that will be used to measure both vibration magnitude and compaction rates for a wide range of compaction equipment. Construction works and land acquisition, which have cost approximately 10,000, will be complete by Friday 29th September and the first tests have been booked by Belle for the 1st November.

This new facility represents a significant step forward in the capability of HAVTEC to measure the vibration magnitude of hand guided and hand held power tools.
